We are a group of Deviants who make things happen (particularly in the theater setting). We can hang lights, use a band-saw, hide things with black paint and tape, and make the actors look good with nothing in return. In this club you may submit scenic designs, costume designs, scrips, scores, photos of your local shows, and fan art of your favorite plays.
We wear all black and only move in the dark; we are true ninjas.

This is your newest contributor Susan, I was thinking it would be nice to introduce myself.
I live on the other side of the ocean in the lovely little country called the Netherlands. I've been a techie since I was about 8 years old and had my first class in basic stage make-up. When I went to highschool I broadened my horizon a bit and started doing some set-building and costume designing. Besides school I also regularly helped out at a local children's theater.
When I graduated highschool in the Netherlands I took a year off and went to the USA where I got formal tech training at an Arts highschool. I also took sewing classes and worked a bunch of productions.
Back home I started formal make-up training and if all goes well I should graduate this summer, I'm hoping to once again hop over the ocean to attend a make-up school in the States after graduation.
Besides the make-up I'm a published writer with 4 musical-plays (3 touring productions) produced and I run a small childrens theatre group dedicated to teaching the kids not only acting but also helping them improve their social skills.
I'm hoping to help improve this group with blogs and more activity.
If there's anything anyone wants to know. Feel free to ask.
Hey there, #Devious-techies! The #TheatreArtists group is having a props challenge. If any of you have a cool theatre props design, build or process or whatever about a prop, why not submit it to our gallery and I'll add it to the props challenge folder. Just let me know! :icon#theatreartists:
If you write plays and would like to have them critiqued, check out The and submit your scripts to the Dramatic Literature Folder! We are tough but fair.
